Technical Project Manager - Custom Courseware Design

MediaPro is looking for an experienced, mid-level Technical Project Manager to fill a key role overseeing the planning and implementation of custom courseware design/development projects. To be successful in this role you must be able to motivate multiple project teams to work together in the most efficient and effective manner. You will have ownership for all aspects of the project throughout the project lifecycle and the ability to drive initiatives to their rightful conclusion.

This position is located in Bothell, Washington and requires you work on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple teams to define, launch, and drive business initiatives through the entire project lifecycle
  • Partner with project sponsors to define objectives, scope, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee the evaluation of business and system requirements; identify and negotiate schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives and success criteria
  • Structure and execute initiatives by gathering relevant data, leading analyses, developing project proposals and recommendations, and creating project plans
  • Review, evaluate, baseline and execute project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Create, manage, and track project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines, and other information that may impact delivery or quality of project
  • Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
  • Minimize, manage, and avoid risks to milestones, schedules and objectives of project
  • Ensure projects meet requirements and objectives and deliver on success criteria

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years related experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience with eLearning, or custom courseware design desired, but not mandatory
  • Experience with providing PM support to remote teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to build strong relationships and trust with stakeholders by expertly managing expectations
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Detail-oriented self-starter, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions
  • Proven ability to negotiate and resolve issues as they arise across areas of the project and where they impact on other activities, systems and projects
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
